The second half of our trip was just as amazing as the first: filled with wine, views of the incredible Redwoods, and a tour of the Facebook Campus! We started with a trip to the Mountain View Farmer's Market. And honestly my fellow Boulder peeps, it put ours to shame.
We grabbed breakfast sandwiches at The Posh Bagel (told you - avocado. It's everywhere.) before spending the day in an awful little town called Willow Glen in San Jose. Ok it wasn't awful - but we read multiple rave reviews on a few cannoli places there, and for the life of us we couldn't find any!
Frustrated, we opted for wine instead.
And a quick stop the at The Winchester Mystery House! Which we did not tour because it was late in the day, and it was pretty expensive.
The door to nowhere!
We spent an entire day touring the Facebook Campus (which is super easy to do by the way because it is HUGE), and it was just ridiculous. There are no words for how awesome it was to tour. We couldn't take pictures of anything unless it was outdoors (super secret Facebook stuff, duh.) so I only grabbed a couple shots of the outdoor roof-top garden area. This entire beautiful green space is ON THE ROOF OF A BUILDING! There are coffee stands and even restaurants up here too!
We spent our last, rainy, California day at one of the many Redwood tree parks, and it was incredible. The pictures don't do it justice!
It was a marvelous trip, and now that we're home in the cold again, we can't wait to go back ;)
